After spending 12 years in the Banking Industry leading the two largest offices in Michigan, Kim decided she needed a career where she could make a more significant impact in changing the lives of others. With that, she began her NYL career in July 2006 as an agent in the Greater Detroit GO, where she achieved MRDT, Rookie of the Year and two consecutive councils. She was promoted to Partner in 2008. Having been identified as a leader and champion of development, she was asked to bring her expertise to Home Office in 2009 in the Management Development department. While in Home Office, she held leadership roles in Recruiting and Retention as well as leading the Market Development Consultant Group.
In 2013, Kim was promoted to Market Manager of the Women’s Market. From 2014-2019 under her leadership, the market experienced unprecedented growth in key company drivers – Recruiting, Retention and the increase of Women Managers. Kim graduated from New York Life’s Accelerated Leadership Program in 2015 and assumed responsibility of the Millennial and LGBT market, expanding outreach across the country. Kim is a passionate advocate, empowering consumers to take control of securing their financial futures.
Kim is a graduate of Siena Heights College with a BS in Psychology and recently completed an Executive Women in Leadership certification through Cornell University. She enjoys traveling, golfing and spending time with family and friends in her free time. She is excited to return to Greater Detroit where her New York Life career began!
Charles Scott
Field Service Leader
Charles started with New York Life in October 2023 as Service Leader for the Greater Detroit General Office. Prior to joining New York Life, Charles worked in the banking industry for 17 years, including 10 years of management experience.
Charles holds his Series 6, Series 63, and Life/Variable Annuity Insurance License. Charles graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in Business Administration. He is an avid sports fan, with his favorite college football team the Michigan Wolverines. He currently resides in Southfield, Michigan with his wife Juannetta and their four kids.
Shelley began her career with New York Life in 2008 in the Boston General Office as an Office Coordinator. She accepted the position as Operations Manager in the Greater Detroit General Office in 2013. Prior to that, she worked for various insurance companies as a manager in the New Business, Claims and Policy Owner Service areas. She has an Associate’s Degree in Business from Northern Maine Technical College. Throughout her 30 year career, Shelley has earned insurance industry designations of FLMI, ACS, ARA, AIAA, AIRC, ASRI, ALHC and HIA. Shelley and her husband Michael currently reside in the Greater Detroit area.
Linda R. Crumbley

Linda began her career with New York Life in the Huntsville General Office as an agent. She earned her FINRA Series 6 & 63 registrations and continued her career as a Financial Professional for 7 years. Fueled with the desire to help people and the love of teaching she accepted the offer into Management and in June 2014 moved to Michigan to join the Greater Detroit general office as the Sales Development Manager.
Prior to joining New York Life she pursued her love of biology and nutrition graduating from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition. She was accepted into a 15 month internship in Salt Lake City, Utah and upon graduation qualified to take the National RD exam.
She enjoyed a career as a Registered Dietitian for 30 years specializing in trauma and working in critical care units around the United States, finally joining ARAMARK Corporation where she held a corporate management position for 10 years finishing out her dietetic career.
In her spare time she loves gardening, partly to watch flowers and vegetables grow and partly to share the harvest with friends. She currently resides in Berkley, MI with her dog Oliver and cat Grace Marie.

Eric is a Senior Associate, Director of Agency Standards and provides field operations and supervision support to the Michigan based field offices of New York Life. Eric was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has worked in finance for the past 7 years including roles in both supervision and wealth management. Eric is a graduate of Aquinas College with a focus in business administration. He is a veteran of the United States Army, including one tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq. Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, traveling the world, and working on his motorcycle.
Scott Tagliareni
Investment Strategies Consultant
As an Investment Consultant, Scott Tagliareni works closely with agents and clients in Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia, conducting training workshops for representatives, working with them on case development, investment concepts and assisting with client meetings. Scott is passionate about financial planning and has a particular expertise in portfolio construction and retirement income strategies.
Scott has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years, starting his career at Smith Barney where he had responsibility for institutional bond trading, managed accounts and individual account management. Scott joined New York Life in 2005, working with the RIS Third Party Distribution team covering annuity investments within the Bank channel. He was promoted to an associate wholesaler and traveled extensively in the field. In 2009, Scott’s product responsibility was expanded to include both mutual funds and annuities while working with a mix of wire houses, independent and bank clients.
In 2010, Scott transitioned to the New York Life Agency channel working directly with the New York Life career agents, in both management and field roles. One of Scott’s core beliefs is that an advisor should be “client centric” and is someone that a client can rely on to guide them through all stages of their lives (not just parts). In his current role, he is able to incorporate this belief when assisting agents with their practices.
Scott and his wife, Brandy, live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and have two young daughters. Originally from New Jersey, Scott is a fan of the New York Giants and the New York Rangers.
Pierce Roth

Pierce Roth began his career with New York Life in 2013 as an agent in the South Florida General Office.
He achieved Executive Council in 2015 and wrote over 50 paid cases per year. He was recruited to join the Life Sales Desk in 2016 as an Internal Life Product Consultant where he supported the Pacific and North East Zones.

Scott Landry, joined New York Life in 2017, as an agent in the Albany General Office. His practice was largely focused on working within the school community [Parent Teacher Associations, teachers, staff, and administrators] with the objective of educating and empowering his clients to make informed financial decisions.
In 2019 Scott transitioned to the role of Development Manager in Albany. During his time as DM, he worked closely with his Managing Partner to develop Virtual Wildwood Tours. These outings allowed members of the Wildwood Program [Adults with Cognitive Disabilities] to “travel” the world while actively engaging in the community this program created.

Nicholas Park is the Senior Associate, Internal Investment Consultant for New York Life Insurance Company. He is truly grateful for the opportunities to work with clients and advisers across and throughout the organization.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California , Nick grew up to be a Dodger, Lakers, and UCLA Bruins fanatic.
Nick attended Franklin Pierce University where he majored in Marketing, Spanish, and earned his M.B.A. Nick has always been passionate about investments, starting his career in finance on the International Equities Floor of Cantor Fitzgerald in Beverly Hills, CA. After his journey with Cantor Fitzgerald, Nick began his financial practice with New York Life, working as a financial professional. Jackie Beauregard joined New York Life in 2015 in the Greater South Carolina General Office, located in Charleston, South Carolina. She was a registered representative for 3 years with NYLIFE Securities. , After achieving council, she took the opportunity to become an internal life product consultant at the sales desk. Over the last three years as a consultant she has worked with several agents in the WC,SC, and NE Zone.
Jackie was born and raised in Western Massachusetts and relocated to Charleston SC to attend The College of Charleston, where she graduated with a degree from the School of Business, with a major in Marketing and a minor in Creative Writing.
While in Charleston, Jackie enjoyed volunteering with Susan G. Komen, a nonprofit organization that works to prevent and find a cure for Breast Cancer. Being an animal lover, she also spent time giving back to animal rescues and shelters in Charleston. She is looking forward to continuing her volunteer work in White Plains, NY.

Valerie Constantino began her career in the insurance industry as agent with New York Life in the Pittsburgh Johnstown office in 2017. Katie Rapp has been working in the insurance and financial services industry since 2002. In January 2005 Katie joined New York Life as an agent in the Columbus, Ohio General Office. Don Hart joined New York Life in 2014 as an agent in the Norfolk General Office. He was an Executive Council qualifier and learned the business under several experienced agents. His clients came primarily from building a network of young professionals and business owners.

Luke came to New York Life with over 20 years’ experience in insurance, financial, and legal services. He spent several years serving as a consultant where he created sophisticated life insurance-based solutions for advanced estate planning, business succession, and retirement matters.
